Valentine’s Day Dessert Board

This is a sponsored post written by me on behalf of Jewel-Osco. All opinions are 100% mine.

This Valentine’s Day Dessert Board is the perfect centerpiece of chocolate, candy and dips for a sweet celebration of any kind!

Whether or not you celebrate Valentine’s day you can’t but love the hues of pinks and reds to brighten up the season!

We keep the occasion low key, with the kids, with a heart shaped pizza, a movie and the couch.

This year, I thought I’d do something fun and make a grazing board of dessert.

It would be great for a Galentine’s day, date night in, a birthday celebration or Valentine’s day dessert.

I arranged this into a festive Valentine tablescape complete with a gorgeous bouquet of flowers and the sweetest smelling candles.

Let’s talk convenience. I’m talking one stop shopping because that’s how I roll.

All of these delicious products came from Jewel-Osco The flowers, the beautiful pink tear drop vase, the candles and all the Valentine’s day treats.

I had a vision in mind of choosing items in pinks, reds, whites and chocolate and the store did not disappoint!

Here’s what you need for the dessert board:

  • Vanilla Sugar cookies
  • Frosted Sugar cookies
  • Confetti Tea Cakes
  • Strawberries
  • Cupid’s Chocolate and Candy Mix
  • Cinnamon Sugar Pretzel Thins
  • Caramel Coconut Fudge Cookies (think samoas)
  • Flavored Gummies
  • Strawberry wafer cookies
  • Cherry Sours
  • Fudge Brownie
  • Conversation Hearts
  • Fudge Mint Cookies
  • Pound Cake
  • Chocolate Hummus
  • Cinnamon Graham Crackers
  • Strawberries and Cream chocolates
  • Edible Cookie Dough

I mean if that spread doesn’t scream I love sweets, I don’t know what does.

After picking up all of these snacks, I went to the floral department to see how I could arrange the centerpiece of the table and bring everything together.

Can I just say, debi lilly design™ x Valentines Collection is simply elegant, gorgeous and affordable. It ticks

The exclusive line has high-quality, high-style pieces all at a value in the floral department.

From the collection I picked up:

  • debi lilly design™ Lovely Teardrop Vase- in pink
  • debi lilly design™ fragrant rose bouquet- in red
  • debi lilly design™ Color Meaning Candles- in red

She knocks it out of the park with every single occasion and brings so much joy to even the simplest moments.

Back in December, we had the Winter Frost bouquet on our table and everyone commented on how beautiful it was.

I also have some great tips from Debi herself on the above post to help you get the most out of your floral arrangements.

The fragrant rose bouquet featured gorgeous red roses, calla lilys and greenery. I placed them into the pink teardrop vase which is elegant.

The red color meaning candle smells divine and instantly brings a smile to my face. It’s an aromatherapy candle which can help you reduce stress and add romance and warmth to your home and heart. It would also be a great gift.

With everything purchased, I set out to create the dessert board.

How to make a Valentine’s Day Dessert Board

  1. First, I find a large enough tray, cutting board or pizza stone to place everything on.
  2. Then I add the dips and/or bowls. For this I had 2 dips in larger round containers so those went in first, diagonal from one another. I also like to place small items, like the cherry sours and gummies, into small bowls and fill those into the empty spaces later.
  3. From there I fill the spaces, keeping in mind the color scheme so I don’t place two of the same colors, or type of treats, next to one another.
  4. If I have anything leftover, I placed them into coordinating bowls, cake stands or trays and place them around the tray.

It turned out so pretty, almost too pretty to eat, but that wasn’t stopping my daughter from digging right in.

I shopped at Jewel-Osco for everything including a few bottles of bubbly, but you can also find these products at the Albertsons Companies family of stores, including Albertsons, Safeway, ACME Markets, Vons, Randalls, Shaw’s Supermarket, Star Market, Tom Thumb and Vons.

I also grabbed a bottle of sparkling grape juice, because my kids love to “Cheers”, so I’ll also have that set out for them on v-day too!

I arranged everything onto the table in cute, festive heart shaped bowls but the star of this centerpiece are the flowers. They’re stunning and bring the entire table together.

This tablescape would be perfect for a small Galetine’s day with your best friends.

So this Valentine’s day season, grab your friends and/or family and celebrate the season of love.

Jewel-Osco also offers Grocery Delivery & DriveUp & Go™/Pick Up for convenient ways to shop, so you can still purchase everything you see here without ever leaving your car!
