These days my daughter loves to join me in the kitchen and it makes my heart so happy!

I always wanted to have a sous chef and always thought it would be my son, but low and behold, it’s my mini-me.

She loves to help me meal prep, makes lunches and prepare dinner. We also love to make afternoon treats, using some of our favorite breakfast cereal, like these No bake Crispy Peanut Butter Honey Cups using Malt-O-Meal Golden Honey O’s.

They’re quick, easy and delicious.

Breakfast is the most important meal of the day, not only for our children, but for us adults as well.

My husband needs all the fuel he can get to endure meetings, while I need all the energy I can get to do the copious amounts of dishes whilst being a food blogger.

Recently, while shopping at Wal-Mart, I found Malt-O-Meal Golden Honey O’s.

Malt-O-Meal® cereals come in over 30 delicious varieties, something for every taste bud in the family. They’re less spendy and so tasty. And if you don’t love them, we’ll refund your money.

Not only do we enjoy Malt-O-Meal Golden Honey O’s with milk each morning, but we always include these bites in our lunches.

They’re the perfect combination of peanut butter, honey and chocolate to add something a little sweet to your snack time.

We also love to pack them when we’re on the way to practices, sitting in the carpool lane or when traveling to the grandparents houses.

So each week, these No bake Crispy Peanut Butter Honey Cups are part of my daughter and I’s meal prep. While I’m cooking something on the stove, my daughter loves to mix the Malt-O-Meal Golden Honey O’s with the peanut butter and honey.

It’s something easy for her to do and it’s such a big help for me.

Malt-O-Meal Golden Honey O’s are made with corn, oats and rice and packed with honey flavor which pairs perfectly with the peanut butter and maple syrup. Add a little chocolate on top and you’ve got yourself a fabulous and tasty snack!
