In the last several years, the grill and I have become best friends.  I’ve learned to use the chimney starter, grill over indirect heat and cook up a pretty fantastic meal.

We’re back together again after the winter hiatus to bring you these BBQ Peach Ginger Glazed Chicken Legs in all their messy, but totally necessary, glory.

And thanks to Kleenex® & VIVA® a quick clean up is only seconds away.

I don’t know about you, but I love a delicious piece of BBQ’d meat that is drippy in sauce.  I like an occasional dry rub but for me, bring on the sauce.

During the summer, I also can’t stop thinking about everything peach.  So I say, bring on the peaches.

I decided to combine store-bought BBQ sauce with peach preserves.  You can make your own BBQ sauce, but I choose our favorite bottled version, to make this recipe go even quicker.

I added in some ginger for some zing.  Peach and ginger bring out the best in one another so it was a match made in BBQ Heaven.

While shopping at Kroger recently and walking down the facial tissue aisle, I stocked up on New Kleenex® Wet Wipes Gentle Clean and VIVA® Vantage® Big Roll Paper Towels so we can stay ahead of the game this summer and keep clean.

These New Kleenex® Wet Wipes Gentle Clean are great!  They’re perfect for hands and faces and really get the job done for the stickiest of messes.

I also love to pack these wipes when we’re on the go.  They’re portable and make for a quick and easy cleanup!

Like I said before, I’m a sauce girl,  so grab even more sauce at your BBQ because with cloth-like VIVA® towels, anything can get clean!

And promise me, you’ll want to make these BBQ Peach Ginger Glazed Chicken legs over and over again.

Notes

Don't have a grill?  Place wings onto wire rack, inside of a rimmed baking sheet, and bake in a 450 degree oven for 45 minutes. After 45 minutes, brush with BBQ sauce (reserve some sauce for afterwards or use a new brush so don't cross contaminate) and place back into the oven for 10 more minutes or until internal temperature reaches 165 °F. Brush wings with additional BBQ sauce.

Grilling tip:  For the crispiest of skin, pat your meat dry with a paper towel.  This ensures the seasoning will stick to the meat and will result in a crispy skin and/or outside.

Yummy! Wonder how it would taste if you used peach pepper jelly instead of peach preserves? Kick it up a notch. ?
