The Ultimate Breakfast Burger is what morning dreams are made of! English muffins topped with Jimmy Dean® sausage patties with melted cheddar cheese, crisp bacon, a fried egg and a drizzle of maple syrup for the ultimate sweet and salty morning combo!
Ingredients
4 English Muffins, split and toasted
16oz Jimmy Dean® Regular Pork Sausage Roll
8 slices sharp cheddar
1lb Wright® Brand Bacon, (I cooked 8 slices)
1 tablespoon butter
4 eggs
¼ cup pure maple syrup
Instructions
Divide Jimmy Dean® Regular Pork Sausage Roll into 4 equal sections and flatten into a patty that's a little larger than the size of your English Muffins.
Heat a grill pan over medium heat and place patties into pan. Cook 5 minutes per side. Place 2 slices of cheese on top of each patty and allow to melt. Remove patties to a plate and set aside
Cook the bacon in the same pan you cooked the burgers until crispy.
In a large saute pan over medium heat, melt 1 tablespoon butter. Carefully crack eggs into pan, saving enough room between them or cook them in batches. Add 1 tablespoon of water, cover and allow eggs to cook until set. Sprinkle with salt and pepper.
Place cooked sausage patties onto English muffin bottoms and top with bacon, a drizzle of maple syrup, egg and the top of the English Muffin.
