Instructions

  1. In a large stockpot, melt butter and add onion and garlic.  Sauté 2-3 minutes and then add in broccoli and carrots and stir to combine.
  2. Sprinkle in flour and seasonings and cook for 1 minute.
  3. Slowly add the milk, stirring to combine. 
  4. Add cream cheese and stir until melted.
  5. Add in remaining ingredients, bring to a boil until thickened and reduce heat to a simmer.  Cook until heated through.
  6. Top with popcorn, additional cheese or cheese curds (the best!)
