Sloppy Joes and Macaroni and Cheese combine to make Sloppy Macaroni and Cheese Cups. A childhood mashup of classics you won't be able to resist!

Instructions

Sloppy Joes

  1. In a medium skillet, brown ground beef with onion and garlic and season with salt and pepper.
  2. Stir in pasta sauce, ketchup, Worcestershire sauce, mustard and brown sugar and mix to combine

Macaroni and Cheese

  1. Boil macaroni noodles for 7 minutes. Drain.
  2. Add in double cheddar cheese sauce, ground mustard and pepper and stir to combine.

Sloppy Macaroni and Cheese Cups

  1. Preheat an oven to 425 degrees and spray a muffin tin thoroughly with cooking spray.
  2. In a large bowl, combine sloppy joe mixture, 3 cups macaroni and cheese and 3 eggs.  Stir well.
  3. Using a 1/3 measure cup, portion out mixture and place into muffin tin.  Bake in oven for 15 minutes.
  4. In a small bowl, mix together panko breadcrumbs and oil.
  5. Remove cups and top with with 1/2 tablespoon shredded cheddar cheese and sprinkling of breadcrumbs.
  6. Place back into the oven for 2-3 minutes.
  7. Allow to cool in pan slightly.  Run a knife around the edge of each muffin cup and gently remove from pan.

Notes

*I did have approximately 2/3 cup of leftover macaroni and cheese.
