This delicious Salted Caramel Hot Chocolate Toddy combines milk, rich chocolate, salted caramel syrup and an option to add vodka or whiskey for an adult version of a classic!

Instructions

  1. In a medium saucepan, over low heat, heat milk until warmed through.
  2. Place half and half into a microwaveable safe bowl and heat for 2 minutes.  Pour in chocolate chips and stir until melted.  Dump in powdered sugar and whisk until smooth.  
  3. Pour half and half mixture into milk, add in salted caramel syrup and stir to combine.
  4. Pour 5 ounces each into five mugs.  Stir in 1 ounce of whiskey or vodka into each glass (optional)* and top with mini marshmallows, chocolate syrup and caramel syrup for garnish.

*Can be made without alcohol for a kid friendly version
