These One Pan Pork Chops with Apples and Cinnamon have juicy pork chops, sweet tender apples and a delicious sauce to bring the entire pan together in one fabulous Fall inspired dinner.
Ingredients
2 tablespoons unsalted butter
1 small onion, coarsely chopped
2 apples, cut into large chunks
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
4 thick (1 1/2-inch) bone-in pork chops
1/2 tsp kosher salt
1/4 tsp black pepper
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
6 ounces apple cider
Instructions
In a large, 6.3 QT. shallow casserole pan, over medium heat, melt 1 tablespoon of butter. Add in onions and saute for 5 minutes. Add in apples and cinnamon and cook for 3 minutes. Remove apples and onions from pan and set aside onto a plate.
Add remaining butter to skillet. When melted add in rosemary. Season pork chops with salt and pepper and add to pan. Cook 5 minutes each side. Remove pork from pan and place onto a plate.
Add onion and apple mixture to pan, and pour in apple cider. Scrap up the brown bits on the bottom of the pan and nestle the pork chops in. Place on lid and cook 10-12 minutes until cook through.
