Firecracker Popcorn Mix
Firecracker Popcorn Mix is the perfect sweet, salty, festive snack to add a little "pop" to your Fourth of July party this year.
Ingredients
- 1 bag of microwaveable popcorn OR (9 cups popped popcorn)
- 1 cup M & M's
- 3/4 cup dry roasted, unsalted peanuts
- 18 ounces white almond bark
- 2 packages Red or Blue Poprocks
- 1-2 Tablespoons sprinkles
Instructions
- Pop popcorn and place in a large bowl.
- Add m & m's and peanuts to large bowl with popcorn.
- Melt almond bark according to package directions. I melt in 30 second increments, stirring after each one. Be careful not to burn it.
- Pour over popcorn mixture and stir to evenly combine.
- Pour out onto foil, wax or parchment paper and spread out into thin layer.
- Sprinkle Pop Rocks and Sprinkles all over the top
- Let sit until completely dry and then break into pieces.
Notes
*After popcorn has been popped and cooled, remove all un-popped kernels*I found red, white and blue M&M's at Target
