Instructions

  1. Place onion, carrot, celery, garlic, chicken, chicken stock, water and wild rice into slow cooker and cook on high for 3 hours or on low for 6 hours.
  2. In a medium bowl, stir together half and half and flour.  Slowly add into slow cooker, whisking to combine.  Continue to cook for an additional 30 minutes to 1 hour to thicken.
  3. Season with salt and pepper.
