All the flavors you love in a classic carrot cake are blended together to make this delicious carrot cake smoothie. Get your calcium, protein and vitamins with this healthy smoothie all while having your cake and eating it too.
Ingredients
1 cup non-fat milk (use your preferred type)
1 5.3 ounce container vanilla greek yogurt
1 cup canned sliced carrots, drained
2 tablespoon of agave (or honey)
1/3 cup frozen pineapple chunks
1/2 tsp vanilla extract
3/4 teaspoon cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon ginger
1/8 teaspoon allspice
Optional Toppings
pinch of fresh grated nutmeg, grated carrots, chopped walnuts, raisins
Instructions
Start by placing the milk and yogurt into the blender. *It's best to put liquids in first to ensure proper blending
Add in the rest of your ingredients and blend on high for 1 minute.
Pour into serving glasses and garnish with desired toppings
