Another day, another homegating post. What can I say, we love sports and football and tis the season!

We’ve made it through the holidays and now it’s onto the playoffs and the BIG game.  If we aren’t hosting, our neighbors are and it’s always a foodie feast. Everyone is in charge of bringing something and this year, I’m in charge of the dessert (YUS!)

Now I don’t know about you but I love a sweet and salty combo, so this rocky road to victory popcorn is amazingly delicious and SUPER simple to make leaving you more room for cheering on your team.

There are 10 of us in our neighborhood that hang out on a regular basis and 4 out of 5 of us are moms. Therefore, there are always families around at our homegating parties. I like to incorporate food that the whole family will like.

Everyone LOVE popcorn and sweets so it’s a no brainer to combine them both. It also satisfies my sweet and salty tooth so it works out well for all parties involved.

We have a pretty big crowd for game day, so we hit up Sam’s Club (find a local one near you) so we can stock up in bulk.

The M&M’S® Peanut Chocolate Candy Pantry Size Bag, which is convenient and resealable, and SNICKERS® Mini Bars are just a few things on my list and can both be found in my pantry at all times!

Conveniently they’re both going into rocky road to victory popcorn for our home gate this weekend!

Start by popping your favorite popcorn and adding in some M&M’S Peanut Chocolate Candies, chopped Snickers Fun Size bars and peanuts. I found it easiest to place the mixture into the largest vessel I could find in my house, my roasting pan.

Then melt some butter with marshmallows and chocolate, and pour over the popcorn mixture.

It’s a simple no bake, sweet and salty treat mix that is sure to please the entire crowd.

Also, how perfect is this bucket I found that says “victory?” Truth be told, I named this rocky road to victory popcorn BEFORE I found the bucket so imagine my delight when I spotted it.

I also grabbed some popcorn football boxes, so adults and kids alike, could carry around the rocky road to victory popcorn and snack all day long.
