Get the kids into the kitchen and mix up your Eggo Waffles. Start with an ingredient bar full of their favorite pizza toppings to create these fun Pizza Wafflewiches.
1 box Kellogg's® Eggo® Nutri-Grain® Whole wheat waffles
2/3 cup pizza sauce, plus more for dipping
1 1/4 cups cheese, I used 5 blend Italian
Pizza toppings of choice; pepperoni, sausage, ham, pineapple, green pepper, mushrooms, etc.
Place waffles into toaster and toast.
Spread 2 tablespoons pizza sauce onto 5 waffles.
Add 2 tablespoons of cheese, pizza toppings of choice and 2 tablespoons of cheese.
Place another waffle on top to create a sandwich.
Spray panini press with cooking spray and place 2 sandwiches into the press. Cook until golden brown on both side.
Cut into triangles and serve with pizza sauce for dipping.
